Littleton, CO - Ronald "Ron" Sheets our "Pop," beloved husband, father, grandfather, custom builder, and friend, passed away on Father's Day, surrounded by the love of his family, after a courageous year-long battle with GIST cancer.

Ron was born on November 21, 1959, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, and lived a life defined by hard work, devotion to family, and appreciation for life's simple blessings.

He is survived by his loving wife, Veronica Sheets; his three children, Samantha Knipp, Cassidie Basso, and Dakota Sheets; and his four grandchildren. He was a proud grandfather whose love, guidance, and steady presence will continue to live on through the generations of his family.

Ron spent more than 40 years building homes, a career that reflected who he was at his core: a man who worked with his hands, took pride in a job well done, and understood the value of creating a place where families could build their lives. He respected the value of a dollar and what it meant to earn one. He worked not just to provide, but because it was what he loved.

Outside of work, Ron found peace and happiness in the outdoors. Whether he was casting a fishing line, tending to his plants, relaxing on his covered patio, or cheering on the Colorado Rockies, he found joy in life's quieter moments. Nature was where he felt most at home. He appreciated a beautiful day, a good thunderstorm, a spirited conversation, and the simple gifts that many overlook.

Those who knew Ron will remember his passionate spirit, his unwavering dedication to his faith and family, and the respect he earned from everyone around him. He lived with humility, strength, and gratitude, teaching those he loved not through words alone, but through the example he set every day. A man who was never boastful and never sought too much, he always prayed to have just enough.

A verse that reflected Ron's life and work comes from Psalm 127:1:

"Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain."

Ron built far more than houses. He built a family rooted in love, a legacy of integrity, and a life that will be remembered with gratitude and pride by all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
